As for clarification regarding NEG. I will be continuing to support NEG, but I will be closing it to new members and taking it off the market, and I will be offering a discounted membership to Firepow for existing NEG customers. Obviously I'll be encouraging all members to upgrade to Firepow, for no other reason than it's a much much much better software.

Hope that helps,
Andrew

Hey Michael,

Perhaps the size of the logo is misleading in that image - I don't think it takes up that much room in the actual software.

It'll make sense when you see it live :)

As for Wordpress 2.5, as I said above, you won't lose anything. We held back for a few reasons, one of them being many plugins aren't yet available for 2.5, and also because another new version is coming soon as I understand. We will be upgrading the version of WP it uses in future, but for now, 2.3.3 was the best fit for our purposes.

Lee, I'll make a post about this.

PS: On another note, I use 2.5.1 and am very happy with it. It's much easier to use and keep track off.

To be honest Andrew, if your logo is taking up half the page, how are going to get your tools in?

If and when I buy your software, I don't need to be blatantly reminded of the product's name every time I use it. Make it smaller and put more emphasis on what the tools can do for the user. Keep the flashy header for ads and the website.

Other then that, I am looking forward to seeing if you really CAN revolutionise the blogging world.

Andrew:

Everyone has been very patient and we all appreciate that it is only going to be a couple of weeks before getting our hands on the program BUT the question that appears several time is - Subscription site or one time payment?

The States is entering a recession and with people out of work and taking lower paying jobs, just to survive, a lot of the subscription service are going to go down the tube. Better for everyone to make it a one shot deal. You can be sure of getting your money and your adoring fans, who have already purchased many things from you previously, won't be stuck with trying to pay the rent and buy food AND make subscription payments.

There's my dime for today.

I'm not sure what this sentence means could you rewrite it for clarity?:

"On some level it’s inevitable, but when flicking between Firepow and it’s product your new blog, it won’t be :)"

Hi Andrew,

What's the difference between this and neg?

I have purchased NEG and you mentioned you would upgrade it for life. Now that you have created another blogging software, does it mean that you are not developing/ putting effort into NEG any more?

thanks
