Hi Andrew,
I’d like to see a plugin that would search Yahoo answers or other forums for questions or posts that would be related to the post made on my blog, then it would submit the blog post as the answer to the yahoo answer post or forum question.
thanks
paul
I would like the ability to post to all my other blogs at the same time.
Thanks
How about a keyword research tool that pulls the keywords with the highest density on your post from wordtracker, sorts them by search volume, and adds similar keywords that have high volume.
You would then be able to add them to your title, description and keyword tags, as well as to your technorati tags.
I would like a plugin that grabs articles from article directories based on keywords. It would be cool if one could edit those artices, or even “spin” them into unique content, without having to leave your Wordpress admin panel.
Oh, sorry I forgot something! I KNOW that there are some plugins that do some of what I requested, but that can create “spammy” sites. It would be cool if the plugin, (or one of a set) notified you that it’s found related content, so you could “spin” it, edit it, or remove it BEFORE it’s posted. (Sorry it took me two posts.
Hi Andrew,
I would like a keyword converstion tracking plugin that would identify the most popular keyword to that particular blog.
Cheers mate
1. How about a plugin to auto post a snippet of each blog post to HubPages/Squidoo/Twitter etc, at RANDOM times within 48 hours-post the publish?
2. How about a plugin to auto submit your blog to selected relevant directories, monthly, randomly?
3. How about a plugin to install a forum to your blog that moderately, slowly, randomly, auto populates the forum with category relevant threads. That also has a “captcha” feature to cut down on external spam?
Can you have a plugin engineered to assemble selected pages/posts of your site as in a “slide show”. Then have it dub that page/post slideshow with selected music and/or audio narrative? Of course through out the slideshow, URL should be visible as in the manner of a subtitle. All this available to upload at will to YouTube or Mogulus, etc.
[...] there’s a cool competition that gives you the chance to win free lifetime [...]
Some features to consider:
1) Auto submit to social bookmarking sites.
2) Find related blogs with based on keywords. An option to select if we want to include those without page rank. The blogs found mus NOT use the no “follow tag”, so we can do comments and get a useful backlink.
A script for re-directing links with a counter. What I mean is that if you have an affiliate url or whatever you could shorten it to http://www.myblogname.com/123/ and it will not only Cloak & Redirect but also let you see how many clicks that url has had for a certain time frame.
a plugin script to automatically social bookmark any new post or rss feed as they get dripped/posted to the site. It should not only post to 10 SBM sites or so but as many as possible. Even Scuttle sites.
Also, I am a great fan of anything that makes automated content and not only posting so adding others rss feeds, spinn content within the blog etc is good…
I really like your youtube puggin. I have thought of a couple of improvements that would be good if possible.
1) The ability to create a custom Adsense player which I see Youtube now offers.
2) The ability to search other video sites to find content.
Gosh there are some amazing ideas there
I really love automated stuff too. I think there should be a plugin that automatically looks up affiliate products and hyperlinks them to keyword products. So you can input your clickbank, paydotcom, amazon code in the backend - and then it automatically picks keywords and turns them into links to affiliate products.
It would be great also to have options, such as making the links a different colour, and how many links to place in each post.
Probably something out there for this already… but I thought it would be cool
Oh - even better? Incorporate the scraping idea from yahoo answers - or wikipedia, and then add affy links to the whole thing. Super cool
a plugin that can submit the feed to hundreds of RSS directories at random/ specific intervals… the database should keep getting updated…
a social bookmarking plugin that ACTUALLY bookmarks successfully at all sites… most of the plugins fail to make successful bookmarks to over 60% of the sites…
an automatic backup plugin that backup your entire blog every (defined intervals) and send an email as attachment.
Hey Guys,
Thanks for the great suggestions.
In looking at them… you might be surprised at how many you find out are already included in Firepow
Keep em coming!
Andrew
How about a simple audio plug in. One that can be easily recorded where it could:
1) introduce the visitor to the blog and/or
2) provide further details to blogs/articles etc
3) alert visitors to certain links etc
Andrew:
I think it would be cool to have a plugin that searches for theme related blogs and gives you the number of posts on the blog, whenther it is non-follow or not, and the PR for the blog.
Keep up the awesome work and commitment to the IM community!
Rick
Hey, how about text to voice translation plugins or service. Great for padcast submissions. People are lazy to read now days
Although there’s such service out there, but i hate to create an account for every each of my websites.
Thanks
Romico
Hi Andrew.
1. A redirect plugin for long affiliate links with tracking capabilities without having to log into additional applications or going anywhere else. (Would have a custom message capability (in the left bottom browser bar corner instead of a link), and if a merchant changes - easy-to-switch aff link only without having to change all the blog links with the previous aff link address).
2. Special Text Widgets plugin with text, picture, audio, video capabilities to put anywhere in a blog (before, after entries, pages, sidebars).
>>> Excellent job Andrew :).
Lu
How about a plugin that would allow you to add audio to your blog and either play automatically or with the usual controls. This is easy anyway, but a really cool feature would be to announce/post/ping various podcasting sites/directories/aggregator sites to generate links back to your blog.
Could have the audio “announcement” feature work for new videos added to the blog.
I also think it would be nice to have a feature on the youtube video plugin that would, at specified intervals, check Youtube and post (update your blog) a new video based on video ranking, most viewed, newest, etc.
Finally, a tag cloud feature to link to other keyword specific videos.
Keep up the good work.
Don
how about a plugin that searches ebay for your related keywords and also shows what the most popular searches on ebay currently are related to your niche(s). In other words, an easy way to tap into what all the traffic on ebay is really looking for and more importantly buying.
Hi Andrew,
If you’ve read Bending the Web by Jack Humphrey, you will be familiar with the idea of ’sending traffic/visitors to sites that link to you’.
Would it be possible to have a plug-in track such sites, and then, once you’ve populated your social bookmarking account details, actually bookmark these posts for you.
Doing this may increase traffic to these sites, and possibly yours too!
Shiv
There are some great suggestions here. It will be hard to improve on them. Good content and relavent backlinks I think are the keys to getting a top ten google rank. Lots and lots of keyword tagged backlinks from high PR sites. I think Andrew has this covered in Firepow so I will think of something new.
In researching long tail keywords, we all know that good search volume and low competition is a primary goal, however, many people have found a way to rank in the top 10 out of millions of competing websites. I think that the way they do this is not by using the sheer volume of competing sites as an indicator, but rather, by looking at the number of backlinks to the top ten sites for the keyword in question. Now the volume of competing sites is less relevant. It is the quality of the competition and not the quantity.
Okay, sorry for being longwinded. My idea for a plugin would be that you can enter a keyword phrase and it will return a list of the top 10 google sites for that phrase, and also show how many backlinks each site has. I think this is a more accurate indicator of true competition for getting listed and would show what is required to get into the top ten. A real time saver in the
early stages of niche and keyword research.

Hi, Andrew
Something that i would like to see, is a plugin for submitting comments. Something in terms of finding topics with about a subject we enter, search for comments made on this the subject. Some sort of no follow / follow, so that we can select the ones we want to comment in. Maybe even be able to link back from the comment as well.
I remember seeing something similar for this type of thing, but it sure would be nice to have it as a plugin instead of stand alone…
Thanks for all the great advice and help that you give..
Vince
Hey Andrew,
1. How about a plugin that cloaks your affiliate ID like wpaffiliatepro.com… this would be an awesome plugin to have especially those blog affiliate marketers.
2. Video and Audio plugins so that you can just easily put your videos and podcasts in your blog posts.
3. SEO Optimized plugin that automatically gives your blogs on page and off page optimized so that SE’s pick it up quicker.
4. Automatic pick up unique syndicated content from related blogs…
5. Easy install to any hosting.
6. Unique blog designs that can easily altered.
7. Manage All My Blogs From One Panel
8. Generate Tag cloud for niche targeted blogs.
9. Easy Header Navigation
10. Integrate 3rd party autoresponders easily.
I hope I gave you enough suggestions here.
Cheers,
Carlo Selorio
Like most, I would like to see a tool that gives you information that is ‘relative’ to your blog! Especially for those of us who have a hard time with writing skills.
But the biggest problem I have is deciding on what to blog about - yeah I know look at your hobbies for instance. But there is not much to blog about involving search and rescue - sjsar.org! Hmmm, could do something on doing ‘community service’ I guess.
How about a plugin in that automatically inserts affiliate CSV data feeds from clickbank, amazon, shareasale, comission junction and other online stores that offer them. This would create more content and traffic than most servers could handle and MAKE ALOT OF MONEY!!!
OOPS!
The above plugin would also need to cloak and add our affiliate links with” no follow” tags to prevent heavy PR loss. You could make alot of money just selling a plugin that did this!
Geez, I’d just like to be able to email to my blog and have it actually post without having to go into the blog and post each time while I’m on the road. Maybe I’m not getting the instructions right, but it’s never worked for me!!
As far as automatic social bookmarking, there is one that feeds a post into Onlywire (although it’s limited to title and URL). An improved version would submit more information to sites like Digg that have captcha. Something like SocialMarker only less clunky (no frames).
I’m experimenting with Feedwordpress on one site. It works great (I know there are other autobloggers available), but it’s difficult to find full feeds rather than just headline feeds (or, “excerpt feed” might seem more WP-ish). A plugin that extends Feedwordpress by searching for full feeds would be nice - perhaps in addition to that some kind of “partnership” system (or club, if you will) of publishers who want to allow their full feeds to be distributed. (For an example of the coolest implementation of Feedwordpress check out feministblogs.org. I can only imagine the profit potential if that blog was better monetized).
Also, now that I think about it, there was a plugin called advanced wiki links that has apparently been abandoned by its author. It worked really great until the most recent release. Perhaps that functionality (reading content and automatically creating wiki-like links to other posts/categories) combined with “true” contextual link/ad support for Clickbank, Amazon, etc.?? (Not sure if I’m clear enough on that one).
CSV data feeds would build an entire store with “true” contextual link/ads including catagories, pictures, descriptions and prices… You could virtually build a affiliate store with every product that Clickbank, Amazon, etc. has.
Thousands of products and descriptions = content and affiliate income! And it would update itself when any of these stores update their products 100% AUTOMATIC INCOME!
You can see here what these CSV data feeds can do.
http://associatefeedgenerator.com/video/
Combined with a good seo optimized and sociable freindly blog such as Firepow will be the possibilities are beyond amazing!!!
Wow! Any idea I could come up with was addressed.
I would like a plug-in that does all of the above while I sit in my recliner and nap….for free…;)
At least I thought it was funny!
We’d like to see an irresistible opt-in to build a profitable email list.
I dont believe it is stated anywhere that the FirePow will be free…
So I would like a real way to recoup my expenses and make some money from my investment.
Adsense alone just doesnt cut it anymore.
Internet Marketing
I have used this plugin to build opt-in lists with some success. Good page rank will really get you good results.
Ihttp://www.moneymakingscoop.com/blog/311/build-your-e-mail-list-with-opt-in-comments/
Would be nice if Firepow would include High quality, customizable templates simular to the ones at http://www.revolutiontheme.com/.
Also like to have custimizable plugins for user polls with own opinions, surveys and reviews.
How about a nice little caRP type plugin. Article writing can be a pain and to be able to extract articles from RSS feeds would be fantastic.
Here is another idea for a powerful plugin. How about a search utility where you input a keyword and the results display high PR social bookmarking sites where you can ad comments for backlinks. The results could be sorted according to PR and/or keyword relevance. I have a program that does this for Squidoo and Hubpages, but it would be nice to include many more social bookmarking sites.
What about a plugin that automatically updates all your blogs at once to the latest wordpress version with no user interaction.
Also, what about a keyword spy tool that would uncover what a website is trying to rank for instead of what they are already ranked for. The search tool would find the top 10 sites or so that the website is intending to rank for but has not yet achieved. Think about it.
After reviewing a couple blogs it became apparent to me I’d like to have a lot more control over the no-follow attribute - turning it on at certain points and off at other points.
So, perhaps the ability to control no-follow/do-follow
- in the post editor (for that post)
- in the page editor (for that page)
- for index/archive/search pages
- for url/domain (probably wildcard)
- I’m sure there’s more…
Now, in my case I *cannot* have a generic plugin that’s all or none for the entire blog - some links should be followed, others not. A basic setup where nofollow is turned off for everything, and then turned on when needed for pages/posts/comments might work fine as a default. But, the more tailoring options, the better.
I would like to see a plugin that makes the meta tag creation easier. There are really no “GOOD” meta tag plugins for wordpress. Usually they are barely OK. Creation of optimized meta tags for every post and page would be a really valuable addittion.
[...] Remember if you want to win yourself free Firepow membership, post your suggestions for a great plugin or any kind of script that would help niche and blog marketers RIGHT HERE. [...]
Dave, have you tried Headspace2? I seriously can’t image a requirement it can’t handle…
Hi Andrew
There are three things I would like to see in Firepow:
1. I would like a plugin where you can submit your articles into the software and then the software will split each article up into seperate posts ( 3 posts per article).
2. Are able to submit articles to the top directories within the software using a default login for all the top article submission directories.
3. Also implement a traffic conversion tool so that we can see how many visitors, clicks, impressions etc etc we are getting from our sites.
This would be great stuff if these plugins could be created.
I would like to see a plugin where you could use either Adsense or YPN on a blog network or social network and users would have a choice which to use on there pages and get paid for it. I have seen this with just Adsense but never with both or just YPN. This would help the many of us that were booted out of Adsense program a few years back and still keep everyone else happy.
How about a Yahoo Answers Plugin
That can import questions and answers from Yahoo Answers into a Wordpress blog. That would be alot of content on alot of subjects.
It would also be cool if people on our site could post answers as well.
Dave,
…
Rod,
In a round about way…
…
Andrew
There are some really great ideas presented here. I just wanted to metion some basic features that I would like to see since Andrew is playing it so close to the vest (~:
Ability to create as many blogs as you want on any domain or subdomain.
Use only one set of customized WP-files and one database –always updated to the latest version of WP.
Each blog has it’s own WP admin area even though there is only one set of WP files.
Customize each blog independently with different themes.
Manage all your blogs centrally.
Drag and drop plugins to your plugin folder that will automatically be available for all of your blogs.
Dee,
For the most part, everything you said is taken care of
Andrew
How about a multiuser blogs that allows others to login and make posts. Maybe for a small fee? Of course they would have to be approved by the main admin. Way better than an article submission site.
I’m a little late to the party, but I was just introduced to this tonight.
Wow, there’s a lot of great ideas here. I can only think of another couple of items.
Expanding on the above idea of having the ability to add datafeeds - if that were created, it would be nice to add products by keyword and have the option to drip them in slowly over time instead of all at once. Would also be nice to approve or reject certain products to be displayed.
As well, although there are already a couple of plugins on the market that do this, it would also be nice to add eBay affiliate rss feeds to either pages, posts or both with the option to choose how many to display at a time.
What good is a pretty website, a ton of great content and lots of visitors to read it, if you don’t have a Sales Funnel!
(FirePow) Plugin: A Guaranteed Sales Funnel Generator, the GSFG plugin would start at the top and would include every element of your market, niche, products and services, opt-in, etc…
The focus of the plugin is: Research, Publishing, Marketing and Monetization
Starting at the top with the main idea, and domain name synchronization.
The market, niche, topic, category, keywords, content.
Lists of products or services, and opt-in strategies, and corporate partnering.
All types of affiliate marketing, Google marketing, ppc, cpa, text links, advertising, JV’s, eBooks and reports, software, memberships etc… and a No-Fail system, Sales Funnel….
One Click Marketing and Blog Monetization brought to you, by FirePow GSFG plugin.
Thanks,
Bill
This may have been covered (if so sorry).
For Socializing it would be awesome to have a way to Vote on each others bookmarking submissions. Propeller, Digg, PlugIN, ShoutWire, BloggingZoom, Squidoo, ezinearticles, and YouTube to name a few. Voting is easy and in a comunity it would just take a few votes to earn that one backlink.
Looking forward to the launch!
Regards and Good Luck!
Buddy
I would really like to see a plug-in developed that could enable an online audio or video network like mine to be added to any blog - features would be add the plugin then select the channel you wanted to feature, become and automatic affiliate of the network (share ad revenue) and also have the option to become a full paid member of the network (additional benefits and higher ad share)
I want an autosave feature.
I don’t know how many times I have either:
=> opened a new window inadvertently (moving too fast) and lost the post I was working on
==> or with mutiple windows open (oscillating between work in process and view) got up to answer the door bell - or got interupted by my wife - and saved the wrong window after I lost my train of thought.
I have lost hundreds of hours of work over the last couple of years (2 hours here, 30 mins there…)
I would also like the plugin for audios and videos like the last guy (Paul) mentioned
But definitely autosave…
Regarding the cool YouTube plugin… possibly add a feature to allow the user to specifically pick their own personally created YouTube videos…
Maybe this has already been done, but I just thought I’d throw it out there!
