I'd like to second what Stee has said. There is a component that does just that for BB systems such as phpBB3. It searched Yahoo questions by keyword, creates a post with the question and then inserts the responces and new posts. A great component to have would be one that finds the questyions based on the keyword, lets you edit it the original question to apply your own comments, and then adds the Yahoo responses as comments.

And to Patrick,
I agree with your comments on the hype, it has been hard to find legit reviews. But the comments on this blog, from Adrew and the beta testers, and other users, all of whom have not posted their affiliate link anywhere in these comments that I have seen, appear to be extremely happy with the product. I will likely be purchasing over the weekend, and I will be more than willing to give you my impressions. I won't even give you my affiliate link, just an hosnest opinion. I've been running personal blogs for some time, and this will be my kick start into affiliate marketing so I can let you know the difference it makes.

Patrick,

You'll stand by your "opinion"? You're calling scam on a program you haven't seen, know nothing about - and that hundreds of happy members will now disagree with you on (one of whom already has)...

Not much of an opinion to me mate.

You want to publicly attack my product - bring it on.

I just wish you were making a better go at it because right now you're only making a fool of yourself without me even having to do it for you.

Keep the comments coming bud.

"It’s called an affiliate program and a product launch sir. A product launches and there is money to be made, in a community of marketers and entrepreneurs - that kind of thing tends to happen. Not only that but you might consider that this “strategy” is actually being taught in a number of “make money” ebooks now. I fail to see the connection between lots of affiliates promoting it - and it’s ‘realistic’ ness - if that were the criteria than no good product online would be worth purchasing."

When, Darren Rowse, Jeremy Schoemaker, Brian Clark, Lorelle VanFossen or any other respectable blogger says this is legit--not someone paid to praise it--I will stand by my opinion.

You can change my mind with some sort of trial. But why would you do that? You have people jumping for the chance for success without the work.

How about a plugin that uses yahoo questions and answers for a specific keyword that will post into your blog and post updated answers from yahoo answers and allow people to post answers on your blog to the question and also be able to pick a range of dates to post from

Mike,

Yes you can manually add any plugins you like to your blogs manually outside of FP - but if there are too many for you to do on an ongoing basis we'll happily consider including them in the system so they can be installed auto.

Stee,

Yes, you'll create your own accounts for the social services. And that plugin is quite interesting. I'll look into that in future :)

Patrick,
Here is an unbiased review...I just bought last night so I'm new to all of this, but I am blown away. I installed a nice looking blog in a third of the time it normally takes me. Everything from traffic generation to content is taken care of. I can't think of anything I would change to be honest with you.

It's a really smooth process to get things up and running even your first time through.

However, Andrew has no control over the other reviewers. Also, we're all marketers, why do you find fault with others wanting to make money?

If you don't want it, don't get it. But you'll be missing out.

Yo u ever seen those "get rich now" commercials? What kind of message does it send that the only reviews are from people getting paid to link to the product? I just want a legitamite blogger to review this without getting their pockets stuff by it.

If you were buying, say, a car. You decided to get a Ford. Looking for the best Ford online you find five star reviews for that pretty convertible but strangely they all link to Ford with an affiliate link and get 10 cents every time I click it.

You get the car anyway. The tires fall off at this first stop sign, the engine blows up and you realize you were scammed.

With all the garbage out there forgive me for not being foolish about how I spend my money on a product I fail to see as realistic.

Hi Andrew,
Following up on Frank's comment. I assume that we can use any other plugin that is available elsewhere on our Wordpress sites? Can these be imported via Firepow or would we have to upload them seperately using the normal Wordpress control panel? But then would that not be the point of Firepow in the first place?

I see you have had one of your "tyre kickers" already. Par for the course I suppose. It is plain that you have thought hard about your product and at the moment it seems that it is the only one offering an almost complete solution. I for one shall be signing up.......just have to sell the wife first ;-)
