The Price Of Firepow

Posted by admin on 27 June 2008

There’s been much question and debate so I thought it was time to make a post.

Firstly, to end all clarification, Firepow will be a recurring membership service.

Let me say, I know, if you had a choice, everyone would rather a one time fee than an ongoing fee - me too!

Also, I realize that times, particularly in the US, are harder than ever right now (though my perception on that is in a funny place right now, having just returned from seeing parts of third world Philippines and having my definition of “struggling” severely readjusted)…

Conversely,  I remember that I have services that I pay every month for without even batting an eyelid. Hosting for example I pay $X00 per month for and don’t even think.

To be honest, there are some products that I want to be within everyone’s reach, and for the first time, this is one where I don’t.  Don’t get me wrong - I’m sure when you see the price of Firepow, you won’t find it in any way exorbitant. But like I say, I recognize that not everyone will be able to be a Firepow member.

I’ll tell you something else in honesty too - not all members are created equal. Certain people who buy products from me have it in their minds that for their $47 I should produce a profitable business for them - emphasis on FOR them. Some people suck my energy, frustrate me, and make me consider changing businesses. But before you say shutup, don’t worry I’m not whinging, far from it. I have 2 great customers for every yuck one. And the great ones will persist despite anything, make slow but continual progress and achieve amazing success.
I’m simply saying there are people I like to help more than others.

And a recurring membership is one way for me to weed out the go getters from the tire kickers - plain and simple.

To ramble on a little further, I hate to think that people worry about spending the (relatively) small fee on an ongoing basis for Firepow. Like I said, I realize it will be out of some people’s reach, but for those for whom it isn’t… If you knew how much it had cost me to put this thing together, the REAL value of this program, you’d be OVER THE MOON to be able to get it for the price that you will on launch day.

It’s not going to cost an arm and a leg by any standards - I don’t think anyone will be shocked when they see the cost.

Please don’t take these words as harsh or negative - bottom line is: I have a lot of gratitude for the people on my email list  and I made a decision on this project to create something truly AMAZING for them - AND that would be seen as amazing by anyone who laid eyes on it.

OH and finally and let’s not forget - the software itself helps you easily EARN BACK the monthly membership fee and potentially $xxx, $xxxx, or $xxxxx per month more! It’s an investment and I dare say, for the right people, a freakishly profitable one.

See you on Tuesday!

A Firepow Site?

Posted by admin on 26 June 2008

So I was fiddling today and thought I’d try to create something to show you about Firepow’s capabilities.

So here’s something.

This is a little site I knocked up in about 5 minutes.

It’s a bit messy, and you’ll find it over busy looking, as I wanted to cram a bunch of features in for you to see… but even then I didn’t get to anything too special - this is only the tip of the iceberg.

www.articlespeedwriting.com/flowers

You’ll notice a few of the features I mentioned plus with a keen eye you can see one that I hadn’t mentioned to you yet… and it’s a cool one too :)

You’ll notice the variety of content, none of which I created, and the generally pretty and interesting look - doesn’t look like your everyday spam blog - because it’s NOT - far from it in fact.

The thing is however, and this is what I’ve been trying to explain to everyone - that the niche marketing, and profit generation process is much bigger than site creation - which I’m sure most of you will understand. Money doesn’t come until you have traffic and monetization.

Fortunately for all of you who will become members, Firepow helps with EVERY part of the niche marketing process, not just the creation of the site. After here is where you can use Firepow to promote your site, connect with other webmasters, and distribute your content around the web.

Not only that but it helps you manage it all as well - what can I say - it ROCKS!

5 days to go!

Launch Date Pushed Back Again

Posted by admin on 14 April 2008

It turns out Firepow is bigger than even I anticipated!

Even with the extra week I added to the launch I started to become kinda scared about having it all ready by that date - so I decided to take an extra week to make sure everything is shmick and ready.

The new launch date will be May 13th.

This will be the last adjustment of the launch date no matter what happens (short of my servers being obliterated in a tornado) so we’ve got one more month of countdown then it’s on like JOHN!

Trust me, it will be worth the wait :)

It Was Inevitable: FP Launch Has Been Pushed Back

Posted by admin on 07 April 2008

Yep even with the team of - I think at last count 10 individuals that are in the team toward making this Firepow thing a reality - I made the executive decision today that we just wouldn’t be ready in time for April 30th… :(

But don’t worry, we’re only delaying by another 6 days :)

The new release date for Firepow will Tuesday the 6th of May.

I know it’s frustrating buuuut… It means you’ll have a better software when it is ready!

I’ll be posting some more screenshot previews in the next couple of days so get ready!

Firepow - My Personal Excitement

Posted by admin on 01 April 2008

I thought I’d share this today - just so you might get as excited about Firepow as I am right now…

So there’s 30 days til launch right…

About - damn, maybe 8 months ago now - I made a decision.

I decided that I was going to go out on a limb.

I wanted to go out on a limb to create something that would REALLY stand out - a product that while it would take a long time and alot of money to develop - would be better than anything else on the market. I reasoned that by doing that, although it was a big cost, it would be worth it in the end.

So I started looking at the competition - all the wordpress blog enhancing software’s on the market. I decided I wasn’t going to release it unless it was better than all of those.

So I started writing down features, things it would HAVE to have if it was going to be the best. The list was pretty big!

From then until now has been the process of working to make all those features a reality. And the process has been a long and tedious one of back and forth between our amazing team of coders, trying to get it just right.

Now we’re a month out…

To be honest there HAS been launches I’ve been more excited about and the reason is this…

Even with everything you guys will see when Firepow launches, I know thats only the beginning.

We’ve already got features in queue to be added continually for at least the first 6 months of Firepow’s existence.

It’s my hope that Firepow will REALLY change the way people do blogging -  that it will take the whole process and make it easier, and more profitable - and in a NUMBER of ways.

Most importantly Firepow will be YOUR software - the advances we’ll be making will be the things that our members as a group most want and from which they will get the most benefit.

Put simply, we’re creating a MONSTER - and whether you’re one of the first in the door, or the timing isn’t right at launch day, you’re going to keep hearing about this program everywhere you go because it WILL be so far above the rest.

The countdown is on!

Firepow Competition - Server Drama

Posted by admin on 02 March 2008

The dramas of doing business online..

Last week we moved this blog over to our new server in preparation for the launch and a few other things and it seems we’ve created some problems with, of all things, just ONE post…

The Firepow JV competition post. The post remains, but all the comments, the most important part, seem to be missing. We’re currently trying to work out if we can recover the info so sit tight until then.

Rest assured SOMEONE will be winning a free membership, don’t you worry :)

What Makes A Great Blog? Part 1

Posted by admin on 26 February 2008

All this talk about Firepow helping your blogging so immensely raises the question, “What exactly IS a great blog?” Or perhaps more importantly, “What is required to become a successful blogger?”

Big question:

Allow me to offer at least a start to an answer to this question, and in doing so offer some further insight into the advantages of Firepow.

1. Quality Content

It’s king and will continue to be so. Of course the words “quality” and “content” only have meaning relative to the niche you’re in - whether it’s video or audio they want, funny or informative stuff - you’ll make the most money by having the best content for your niche, fullstop.

While the BEST content doesn’t get created by software (in most cases anyway!) certain tidbits of software can help make your content BETTER. Whether it means slotting in a relevant video (like the preview plugin video I hope you’ve seen), maintaing a consistent frequency of posting, sourcing the best info to allow you to CREATE the best content yourself, or a host of other spice ups, Firepow will go as close as possible to having you covered on this front :)

2. Usability:

Having great content is one thing but having your content available on your blog in a way that allows the user to take full advantage of it is another. This covers issues such as the layout of your blog, the way the categories, pages, and tags are presented and organized - The ability for users to share your content with their friends and otherwise interact with that content via comments, polls, and more.

3. Great Marketing

You might have great content but in alot of niches, so does everyone. Quality content is king but it’s not enough on it’s own - even a king needs an army, and a bunch of servants and advisers to help him do his job.

Successful blogging is about having the ability to get the word out about your great content, and there surely are many ways to do that. Successful bloggers know about their target market, and they both write and promote their site with that small (or big) group as their focus. They have an intimate knowledge of their target market and choose their methods of promotion based on that knowledge - they don’t blast social networks just because it’s the IN thing - instead they focus on the promotional methods that they know from research and testing, will most effectively reach their audience.

I’ve created Firepow with this knowledge in mind and like I mentioned, have tried to incorporate certain features into it, to help with or optimize each of these factors of successful bloggers. The goal of this being, to make it possible for the average guy to become a successful blogger/niche marketer if they so desire.

We’ll continue this discussion in my next post.
